Your next role as a Miracle Maker

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Intern. In this role youwill gain knowledge of overarching principles specific to a small-scale biologic manufacturing process; to include, but not limited to, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), inventory management, adherence to batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), handling of antibodies and antigen concentrates, diluent formulations, technical transfer activities and cross functional collaboration. In support of antigen concentrate testing in conjunction with the Manufacturing and Research & Development teams the intern will work on a project testing antigen concentrates, analyze the results and make recommendations based on the analysis.

Project Milestones:

• Meet with cross functional teams to learn about Cygnus Technologies and its operating units.
• Learn the how to conduct antigen concentrate testing;
• Testing of antigen concentrate
• Analyze the results
• Recommend actions based on data analysis
• Prepare a poster or presentation with testing results and recommended actions to present to the team, peers and leadership

In addition, the intern willgain hands on experience supporting inventory management and cycle count initiatives and will learn how to support creation and revision of Device Master Records (DMRs), Batch Records, and SOPs in MS Word.

The skills and experience that you will bring:

• Must be pursing an undergraduate degree, currently in the Junior year or first semester of senior year. Preferred areas of study are Biology, Chemistry, or other related life science discipline.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both in a team setting and independently.

The Summer Internship Program is a 9 week program beginning on June 17, 2024 through August 16, 2024.
