Position: C# Developer (Machine to Machine / Electromechanical Automation Systems)
Work Location: St. Louis, MO (HYBRID)
Eligibility: GC/USC required
Test Requirement: REQUIRED to pass a non-proctored C# test by Filtered.AI prior to submittal
Job Summary:
- 8-10 years of experience in C# (primary language).
- 3 years of experience in machine to machine (M2M) and electromechanical automation systems.
- Proficiency in developing multi-threaded applications.
- Background/experience in electrical engineering with output data uploaded to the cloud.
- Proficiency in low-level machine control programming.
- Knowledge of Python and Javascript.
- Familiarity with TCP/UDP, MQTT, and serial communication standards (RS422, RS485, RS232).
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere Liberty, and Oracle RDBMS.
- Experience with Spring Batch and Spring Boot.
- Experience with large-scale data migration.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
- Experience working in an agile environment (scrum, kanban, or scrumban).
Hybrid Work Model: 2 to 3 days per week at Chesterfield campus. Local candidates only.
Software Engineer - Machine Control and Automation - Mid Level:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline with 4 years of demonstrable experience in automated/control systems development.
Required Skills:
- Strong software development skills with the ability to drive software development in all phases of the product lifecycle.
- 5 years' experience in developing M2M and electromechanical automation system software in C#, C , C, or Python.
- 5 years' experience in developing multi-threaded/process applications/services.
- Experience with network protocols, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Understanding of modern development concepts and practices.
- Experience with networked systems and cross-platform development.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IoT and data-driven systems.
- 4 years' experience with MS technologies such as Visual Studio .NET, WPF, WinForms, etc.
- Experience with serial communication standards and database technologies.
- Familiarity with modern development tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.
