Position Overview : The Trust and Estates Associate will provide legal services in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, individual taxation, fiduciary taxation, estate tax returns, new jersey inheritance tax returns, fiduciary accountings, trust administration, LLCs, corporations, partnerships, operating agreements, shareholder agreements and transfer documents.

Key Responsibilities :

• Advise clients on estate planning, estate administration, individual taxation, fiduciary taxation, estate tax returns, new jersey inheritance tax returns, fiduciary accountings, trust administration, LLCs, corporations, partnerships, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and transfer documents.
• Draft, review, and negotiate wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare documents, and other estate planning instruments.
• Analyze and resolve complex legal issues related to estate planning, estate administration, and taxation.
• Prepare and review estate tax returns, new jersey inheritance tax returns, fiduciary accountings, and trust administration documents.
• Advise clients on the formation, dissolution, and business transactions of LLCs, corporations, and partnerships.
• Draft, review, and negotiate operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and transfer documents.

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctorate in NJ and NY- PA is a plus!
• LL.M. in Taxation is a bonus
• Experience in drafting, writing, and legal research.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
