We are looking for a versatile and experienced Tooling Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of CAM, Tooling, Tool and Die, Plastic Injection, mold, Mold Tooling, Mold Design, CAD and MS Office, as well as a strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cavitation, Plastic Injection Molding, thermo plastic, and thermo plastic injection.
LOCATION: We are hiring in both MONROE, NJ AND NEPTUNE CITY, NJ!
Position Overview: The Tooling Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing tools and machinery for the purpose of manufacturing plastic parts. This includes creating molds, fixtures, cutting tools, and machine shop concepts. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all tools produced.
Key Responsibilities

• Designing and developing tools, molds, and fixtures for plastic injection molding and thermo plastic injection.
• Ensuring accuracy and quality of all tools produced.
• Creating CAD models and drawings for tooling projects.
• Making recommendations and implementing cost-saving methods.
• Developing processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Troubleshooting tooling and machine issues.
• Adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in tooling, molding, or plastics industries.
• Extensive knowledge of CAM, Tooling, Tool and Die, Plastic Injection, mold, Mold Tooling, Mold Design, CAD, MS Office, Manufacturing, Lean, Six Sigma, Cavitation, Plastic Injection Molding, thermo plastic, and thermo plastic injection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
