This role can be located in either Hackensack, MN or Clarkson, KY and will be a full time role, base salary full benefits.

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive safety initiatives and a culture of safe work activities and processes across multiple locations with emphasis in our production facilities.
• overseeing the safety programs and policies at our multi-location manufacturing and distribution company
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, experience working in manufacturing environments, and a proven track record of implementing effective safety initiatives.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at all company locations to identify potential hazards and risks.
• Collaborate with department managers to address safety concerns and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
• Provide safety training to employees on topics such as machine safety, Lock-out/Tag-out, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response procedures.
• Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

Required

• 3 years in a safety manager/coordinator role
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other state and federal safety standards.

Bonus Points

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field and experience.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
