This is a Level II or III role with a lot of opportunity for growth. Position Overview

• Monitor and maintain system hardware, software and networking tools to ensure maximum uptime of core systems and services
• Configure systems and applications to meet service-level agreements
• Maintain and troubleshoot system hardware, software and networking tools
• Analyze and optimize system performance and reliability
• Provide timely support to end users when needed
• Identify and address potential system risks
• Develop and document system processes and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure and administer network systems and services
• Perform system upgrades and patching
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning and capacity planning
• Analyze system logs and troubleshoot system issues and alerts
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation
• Provide technical support and training to end users

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering - Linux & Windows
• Linux Server: ELK, Cassandra
• Windows Server: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V
• Core systems and maximizing those processes - full stack
• VPN Technologies: Always ON VPN, Direct Access, or Wire guard
• Commodity Server Hardware experience (Super Micro or Quanta preferred)
• Microsoft-related cloud technologies: Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, One Drive, Teams
• Bachelors degree in CS, IT or related field
