CyberCoders is Hiring a Remote Remote Systems Engineer - Linux/Windows (local to Seattle)
Based in Lynnwood, WA, we are an established, successful healthcare company looking to bring on a talented Systems Engineer to our growing team. We have two openings currently! This is a Level II or III role with a lot of opportunity for growth. We are looking for a dynamic individual that can dig in, pull things apart and create solutions, solve puzzles, and loves technologies. This is an approximately 90% remote role, but you must be local to the Lynnwood, WA area!**Must be able to work on-call on a rotating schedule** Position Overview
Monitor and maintain system hardware, software and networking tools to ensure maximum uptime of core systems and services
Configure systems and applications to meet service-level agreements
Maintain and troubleshoot system hardware, software and networking tools
Analyze and optimize system performance and reliability
Provide timely support to end users when needed
Identify and address potential system risks
Develop and document system processes and procedures
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
Key Responsibilities
Design, install, configure and administer network systems and services
Perform system upgrades and patching
Perform system monitoring, performance tuning and capacity planning
Analyze system logs and troubleshoot system issues and alerts
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation
Provide technical support and training to end users
Qualifications
5 years of experience in Systems Engineering - Linux & Windows
Linux Server: ELK, Cassandra
Windows Server: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V
Core systems and maximizing those processes - full stack
VPN Technologies: Always ON VPN, Direct Access, or Wire guard
Commodity Server Hardware experience (Super Micro or Quanta preferred)
Microsoft-related cloud technologies: Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, One Drive, Teams
Bachelors degree in CS, IT or related field
