Quality Inspector

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will ensure all products meet design specifications and quality standards, and advise the production team accordingly. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and strong communication skills.

The Quality Inspector's key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting products for conformity to design specifications
• Reviewing engineering drawings and inspecting product dimensions
• Identifying product defects and making recommendations for repair or corrective action
• Ensuring products meet customer requirements and industry standards
• Performing final inspections and documenting results
• Participating in the sampling process
• Calibrating measuring instruments
• Maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Ensuring re-work is done correctly
• Working with the production team to identify areas for improvement

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Quality Inspector role
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and tools
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with product identification and fasteners
• Knowledge of cold forming processes
• Strong organizational and computer station access skills
• High attention to detail
• Analytical skills for quality analysis
