Position Overview : The 2nd shift Production Supervisor will be a key member of the production team, responsible for coordinating and supervising production operations in order to ensure the timely and efficient production of high-quality products.
This position requires strong organizational and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and coordinate production operations, including scheduling personnel and equipment, and ensuring timely production of quality products.
- Supervise and mentor production staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Identify areas for improvement in production processes and develop methods to improve efficiency.
- Ensure production operations comply with safety regulations and policies.
- Analyze production data and report any concerns or issues to management.
- Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Ensure production meets quality standards and customer specifications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- 5 years of production experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong management and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
- Experience with Six Sigma methodology.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- A plus to be bilingual in Spanish & English!
- A plus to have experience with Injection Molding / Plastics!
