Position OverviewThe Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, technical guidance, and operational direction for the maintenance team while ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Maintenance Supervisor will analyze and evaluate maintenance issues, develop solutions, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of all industrial machinery and equipment. This position will also involve overseeing product inspection and quality control, and ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, supervise, and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and improvements
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency
- Perform inspections and tests on the machines and equipment
- Ensure all industrial machinery and equipment is in proper working order
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and that the work environment is always safe and hazard-free
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
- Train and manage maintenance personnel
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
- Monitor and enforce safety policies and regulations
- Work with departmental supervisors to plan and schedule maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and schedules
- Manage and monitor inventory of spare parts and supplies
