Salary: $125,000-130,000
Position Overview: The Director of Finance is responsible for the financial health of the organization by overseeing all financial operations. This includes managing the budget, preparing financial statements, analyzing trends, and making recommendations for cost savings and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that grow the organizations assets.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Provide recommendations for cost reduction opportunities.
- Identify trends, advise the organization, and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
- Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce financial policies and procedures.
- Assess and review financial and operational risks.
- Manage and oversee the finance team
- Improve processes and systems by developing, implementing and maintaining Lean initiatives.
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proven experience with financial analysis, budgeting, cost accounting, and financial statements.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
- Experience with process improvement and continuous improvement.
