Director of Concrete Quality Testing

Position Overview: The Director of Concrete Quality Testing is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and testing process for various types of concrete products. This position will ensure that all concrete products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and state/federal regulations. The Director of QC will be tasked with developing and implementing quality assurance programs, monitoring results, and providing feedback and recommendations to improve quality. Additionally, the Director of QC will provide technical support to the concrete production staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance plans, procedures, and systems for concrete products
• Perform testing of concrete products to ensure that they meet customer requirements, industry standards, and state/federal regulations
• Analyze test results to identify potential quality issues and provide feedback to production staff
• Develop and maintain records of quality assurance activities
• Identify and implement process improvements to ensure consistent quality
• Provide technical support to production staff as needed
• Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and regulations for concrete

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
• 5 years of experience in concrete quality assurance and/or testing
• Proficiency in ACI, ASTM, AASHTO, and other relevant standards and regulations
• Strong technical expertise in concrete, cement, and construction
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
