Locations: Minneapolis, MN - New York, NY - Washington, DC Salary: $185,000 - $225,000 Billable Hour Requirement: 1850 Position Overview: We are looking for an Associate Attorney with experience in Employment Law, non-competes, and employment termination to join our team. The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker with a commitment to excellence in their practice. Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on Employment Law matters, including but not limited to non-competes, employment termination, and state and federal laws
Draft and review employment contracts, employee handbooks, and company policies
Research and interpret legal regulations and rulings to advise clients
Represent clients in court in Employment Law disputes
Prepare and present cases in court
Develop strategies to protect clients from potential legal issues
Conduct investigations to de-conflict potential disputes
Advise clients on changes in Employment Law regulations
Maintain client files and documents
Write legal documents and briefs
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate from accredited law school
Admission to practice law in the state of residence
Strong knowledge of Employment Law, non-competes, and employment termination
Excellent research and writing skills
Ability to analyze complex legal documents and briefs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
