We are looking for a Accountant to help with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to think strategically. They should also be able to work independently and be able to work collaboratively with others.
What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct account reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Perform periodic reviews of the general ledger to ensure accuracy of financial reporting
- Analyze, process, and reconcile inventory transactions
- Perform cost of goods sold analysis
- Prepare financial analysis and reports, including journal entry preparation, account analysis, and forecast models
- Evaluate financial data and make recommendations for process improvements
- Perform research, investigate, and reconcile discrepancies as required
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for external auditors
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to financial management
- Adhere to established internal control procedures and company policies
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- General ledger journals entries, account reconciliation: minimum of 1 years
- Manufacturing with inventory, Cost of Goods Sold experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments
- Familiarity with ISO procedures, legal compliance, tax requirements, external audits, and other regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Some inventory experience is a plus
