Cyberbacker is Hiring an Event Hostess Near Ogden, UT

We believe in perfectly planned and delightfully detailed events. We’re searching for an experienced Event Coordinator/Host to manage production from concept through completion, helping maintain our reputation for memorable events. The ideal candidate is passionate, creative, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing superb client service at every turn. This role demands an expert in all aspects of event, room setup, and best practices. This person must also have excellent leadership skills and an ability to delegate responsibilities to meet expectations for quality. The best candidate for our company is an event planner who can manage the daily details and use big-picture thinking to ensure truly unique experiences.

Duties:

  • Meet and greet guests attending the event, conference, or venue in general
  • Accommodate guest requests politely and professionally
  • Coordinate with team members and lead Event Coordinator to ensure smooth flow of event
  • Assist with planning and preparation of the venue including but not limited to moving chairs and tables, working the Audio/Visual system, bussing tables throughout the event, restocking paper products and emptying trash
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed upon opening and closing of the venue/event
  • Company meetings with the Event Director and staff.
  • Capturing pictures and short videos during the event to share with our Social Media team.
  • Ability to operate a screen & projector, turn on computer, mini sound board, mini monitor and projector, mic and with possibility of troubleshooting.
  • Helping clients unload or carry in items, if necessary.
  • Must have great communication, problem solving, organizational and people skills.
  • Maintain an approachable and professional demeanor at all times

Qualifications:

  • Vibrant personality;
  • Professional attitude and appearance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise;
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft systems, Google workspace, and Zoom application
  • Must be 21 years of age and above

Pay:

  • Pay is based on the event that is worked. We have events which are 5, 7 and 11 hour events and pay is between $20-22.50 an hour. There are events almost every weekend, but we also have events on Sundays, weekdays, mornings and evenings.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
