Need Job Description for Sr. Java Developer with Java, Microservices, AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform

position Overview:

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and high-performance software solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that meet the needs of our customers.

The ideal candidate is passionate about software development, has a strong background in Java programming,

and is experienced in building Microservices architecture using modern cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and related technologies.

Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions to support scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.

Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.

Work with DevOps teams to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments using AWS services.

Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes to manage application deployment and scaling.

Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration tasks.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development, cloud computing, and Microservices architecture.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java programming.

Proven experience designing and building Microservices architecture using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar frameworks.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.

Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration management.

Solid understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
