Overview

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all facility and maintenance needs at CWMF. This is a working coordinator who will balance their time between “doing” and “coordinating”. This position will perform most duties in an independent manner. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and utilizing a more robust computerized maintenance management software (CMMS).
• Perform required industrial stormwater testing, samplings, and ensure best management practices are being followed.
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and reactive maintenance on the following items:

o Forklifts 

o Cranes 

o Plasma Cutting Tables 

o Roller 

o Press Brake 

o Drill Press 

o Lathe 

o Welders 

o Fume Collectors 

o Air Compressors

o Fire Extinguishers

o Shop and Service Vehicles

o Paint Sprayers

o Steel Grit Blast Booth

o Hand Tools

o Overhead Doors

o Radiant and Unit Heaters 

o AC Units 

• Arrange and direct outside service companies when required tasks are beyond the capabilities of internal resources.
• Maintain record keeping of all OSHA required inspection reports (forklifts, cranes).
• Oversee office maintenance needs as requested.
• Ensure required Hazardous Waste requirements are being met.
• Establish and manage snow removal plan for the facility. Coordinate with contracted snow removal company to ensure facility is cleared in a timely manner.
• Landscaping and yard maintenance.
• General housekeeping and property maintenance/clean-up. 
• Take the necessary steps to continuously move the facility towards a more organized, safe, and orderly manner.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
• 5 years’ working with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.

Computer Skills

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Proficient computer skills and etiquette (Emails, Schedules).
