```Duties```

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations within a distribution center. Your duties will include:

- Managing and coordinating all activities related to the efficient operation of the warehouse
- Supervising a team of warehouse employees to ensure productivity and quality goals are met
- Implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Utilizing warehouse management systems such as AS400 to track inventory and orders
- Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics to optimize distribution processes
- Providing training on proper use of equipment like forklifts and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Overseeing heavy lifting activities and ensuring proper mechanical knowledge is applied

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong background in e-commerce operations and distribution center management
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems, particularly AS400
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks and guide others in safe lifting practices
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Experience in driving process improvement initiatives to streamline operations
- Knowledge of logistics principles and best practices in warehouse management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
