CV Resources has partnered with a client of ours in the lending industry in search of a Controller to join the team. Reporting to the CEO, the role will be primarily responsible for managing the close process and leading their audit efforts. Lending industry and business funding experience is a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 7 years of audit and/or corporate accounting experience
• CPA preferred, not a requirement
• Strong communication and executive presence

Required skills and qualifications

5 and more years of professional accounting experience within a lending company

Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis

Working knowledge of audit

Merchant cash advance and leasing experience

Working knowledge in any secured and non-secured loans

Strong knowledge in Revenue recognition

Strong knowledge in QuickBooks
