Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team. As an Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process for construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates are provided. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the estimation process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates
- Utilize construction management software and tools such as Civil 3D, Schematics, Primavera, and Bluebeam to create detailed estimates
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare and present estimates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction costs
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Strong knowledge of construction management software (e.g., Primavera, Bluebeam)
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting construction drawings
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
