What you’ll be doing.

Job Summary:

As part of a team, this position will identify complex and multi-functional internal processes and build solutions that are reliable and scalable to work within the size and scope of the Company, ensuring proper integration with custom designed systems.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Producing and proofing reports and marketing materials.

  • Entry into the Claims System and Plan Profile System; completing all behind-the-scenes steps for clients or potential clients.

  • Completes ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisor and/or carriers.

  • Resolves regulatory issues with assistance from supervisor.

  • Suggest new solutions to handle unusual issues.

  • Communication with Insurance Underwriters, Account Managers, and executive level management.

  • Works with Proposals of Insurance and contracts to create underwriter and state compliant certificates/policies of insurance.

  • Implements products in online systems by uploading documents and product tables and testing those in multiple environments.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:

Requirements:

  • Ability to focus and attention to detail.

  • Good organization skills.

  • Flexibility and open to changing priorities.

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work as a part of team as well as individually.

  • Self – starter able to perform with moderate to limited supervision.

  • Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers clearly and concisely.

Preferred:

  • A P&C or L&H license is a plus!

  • Experience in an office or insurance setting is helpful.

  • Experience with Creative Cloud programs, specifically InDesign and Adobe preferred.

  • Website Testing and API’s experience preferred.

Education/Certifications:

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree.

Pay: 45-60k/yr

Travel Requirements: NA

Where you’ll be doing it.

This is a hybrid role based out of our San Diego, CA office. As a hybrid role, you will be working onsite 2-3 days a week and working from home 2-3 days a week.

When you’ll be doing it.

While there is some flexibility in the hours, this position will be Monday-Friday during regular business hours (approximately 8:00am-5:00pm). Occasional overtime may be required according to business need.
