Are you a driven Painter with solid experience? If so, we are looking for you! We are growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Painter who will partner with our growing team. The role is located at our Kansas City, MO location. You will prep products for paint using power and air tools on a daily basis.

You understand the heavy equipment business and have a drive for being an active part of solutions. You set the bar high and set an example for other leaders and colleagues on how to work collaboratively with the highest level of integrity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with plant manager, shop supervisor, customer, drafter, and peers to produce finished products. Proficient in modern painting techniques and equipment. Good working knowledge of industrial paints, primers and thinners.
• Ability to complete required tasks in a timely manner with a good finish using a variety of products. Utilizes knowledge of various machines, painting practices and techniques to complete all assignments. 
• Must have strong oral communication skills. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations. Successful applicant will be safety conscious and have good housekeeping practices. Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced
• Mask off and cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection of equipment minor paint repair.
• Clean up all equipment, including brushes and spray guns.
• Drive forklift to stage parts and move material
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, including safety and environmental rules
• Properly hang and remove parts from paint racks.
• Assisting painters. 
• Clean all surfaces to ensure proper adherence of products when necessary. 
• Install non-skid coatings on various items. 
• Assemble small parts, including minor wiring. 
• Responsible to keep clean and safe work area. 
• Wear safety protective gear. 

EXPERIENCE

• Some experience is preferred, but willing to train.
