Position Summary:

The Service Manager will oversee the installation of our conveyors and robotics systems. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer service interactions, generating reports, and coordinating repairs. It is essential for the service manager to uphold outstanding customer service, foster enduring relationships with customers, team members, and vendors. Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring that our products consistently meet our quality standards, surpassing customer expectations. Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our industry standards and practices, as well as our company's suite of products and services is essential.

Our facility is conveniently located in Oakland, FL, 23 minutes from Orlando.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of service operations, including but not limited to scheduling, resource allocation, and service delivery.
  • Ensure timely and efficient repair, maintenance, and installation of conveyor and robotic systems to minimize downtime for customers.
  • Delegate and direct service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the team's objectives and sales goals are met.
  • Consistently deliver incredible customer service experiences by offering knowledge, advice, products information, estimated time of arrival of goods, and product recommendations.
  • Answer customer’s questions and concerns, and deliver prompt, professional solutions.
  • Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions; and suggest improvements to customer service to higher management and staff.
  • Monitoring department issues and client complaints to create methods to lessen recurring issues.
  • Act as the highest source of information for all service, inventory, and product-knowledge concerns and work process matters (for both employees and customers).
  • Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.
  • Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
  • Read blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards.
  • Recruit, train, and cultivate the service team members in installation techniques, company protocols, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Develop comprehensive training manuals to enhance employee proficiency on the job.
  • Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
  • Maintain housekeeping and general clean up duties throughout the site.
  • Follow all company rules, policies, and quality standards.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong industry knowledge.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, salesmanship, and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to travel about 30% of the time, domestically and/or internationally, as needed.
  • Computer literacy, detail oriented and good organizational skills.
  • Strong creative thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt and perform in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to sit, walk, and stand for periods of time if necessary.
  • The ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Display a strong sales-minded attitude.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Possess a high degree of safety awareness when performing all tasks and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
  • Work well with others and work as a team.
  • Maintain working area clean and organized.
  • Display and maintain enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience working as Service Manager.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Solid Works, CAD, and/or E Drawings systems.
