****MUST BE A SKILLED GLAZIER WITH SUFFICIANT INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE****

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of glass in various settings. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in glass installation techniques.

Duties:
- Measure, cut, and install glass for showers, mirrors, windows, doors, skylights, and other structures
- Remove broken or damaged glass and prepare surfaces for installation
- Fabricate and install metal frames and sashes for glass installation
- Install weatherstripping, caulking, and sealants to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing
- Repair or replace damaged glass components
- Work with drywall, trim carpentry, and frame carpentry as needed for glass installation
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques and best practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade
- Familiarity with other construction trades relative to glass
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Glass/Mirror/Shower installation/replacement: 3 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Sarasota, FL: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
