Salary: $68,000.00 to $79,500.00

Community Manager Overview:

We are seeking a full-time, exempt Community Manager to lead a community of residents and staff in one of our student-centered apartment buildings. This crucial role assures a supportive environment for our residents/students while overseeing efficient and fiscally responsible operations of the community. 

This is a unique building, currently under renovation, and was a part of the Oregon Community Foundation's Project Turnkey! This community will open later this summer, and we are looking for a dynamic Community Manager to begin sooner and be a vital part of the initial lease-up, grand opening, and ongoing community needs. We are thrilled to be adding this community to our portfolio!

Location: Gresham, Oregon (near historic downtown)

Community Manager Duties:

  • Providing leadership, direction, and support to the teams at the community
  • Responsible for positive student engagement and services throughout the life cycle of tenancy
  • Manages and directs day-to-day leasing operations and related accounting
  • Proactively develops and implements new practices and trainings to support a culture of growth

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes, skills, and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or commensurate experience 
  • 3-5 years of property management, student housing, or related experience
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing, Equal Housing Opportunity, and Oregon Landlord-Tenant law
  • Great time management
  • Collaborative nature
  • Strong communication skills
