Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Greenwood team!

As our Process Engineer, you will be a part of the production team in our Surface Technologies facility, specializing in Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO).

You will be a part of the Project Development and Industrialization team, working hands on with our Production team in Greenwood, IN, as well as around the world.

This is a great opportunity for you to learn about the PEO technology while building your manufacturing experience.

Your Challenge:

• Working hands-on with the team to develop customer projects, creating documentation, including working instructions and workmanship standards; and industrializing the projects at hand.
• Working with the production staff on the floor to ensure process documents are followed and providing technical support.
• Troubleshooting problems associated with the manufacturing process.
• Communicate with customer engineering and quality teams to resolve problems.
• Working with QA department to assist with internal and external audits as required.
• Improve existing operations for increase quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.

What You Bring:

• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience
• Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement
• CAD /AutoCAD
• Being a team player
• Ability to travel in the US and Internationally up to 50%

Preferred:

• Experience quoting projects for new customers
• Knowledge or experience problem solving using 8D and statistical methods
• Experience with non-ferrous coatings (surface modifications)
