Your Challenge - Oversee all Quality related functions and supervise Quality staff.
- Develop/Approve Process and Inspection plans compliant with customer and industry specific requirements
- Review and evaluate contractual requirements in specifications and drawings
- Ensure quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility.
- Provide subject matter expertise while interacting with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Develop, review, approve and control all Quality Management System documentation
- Host all customer and regulatory audits and ensure continued certification to AS9100 and Nadcap Chemical Processing
- Review, evaluate, and answer customer correspondence.
- Maintain training requirements and records for site.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action for discrepant product
- Identify potential project quality issues
What You Bring - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-4 years of experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment (job shop)
- 3-5 years' experience in implementing Quality Management System (AS9100 or other regulated environment)
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and specifications
- 3-5 years Supervisory experience of technical and administrative staff
- Ability to perform Root Cause analysis and implement Corrective Actions
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain DoD security clearance
Preferred
- 3-5years of chemical processing experience
- Experience with Nadcap accreditation process and auditing
- Background in metal finishing or coating manufacturing environment
