Residential construction company that operates in Central Oregon and The Gorge is looking for a full-time Permit Tech to join our team. Working knowledge and understanding of residential construction and design is required. Understanding of the permit process and ARC submittal process is preferred but not required.

Some of the tasks and responsibilities:

• Prepare, submit and monitor permit packages to multiple jurisdictions
• Prepare, submit and monitor ARC packages to multiple jurisdictions
• Confirm final construction plans comply with regulations and quality standards
• Have a working knowledge of current building codes, regulations, by-laws and requirements for multiple jurisdictions
• Timely respond to requests and inquiries from the various jurisdictions
• Work closely with the Project Managers to finalize the project plans and permit packages

This team member must be detail oriented, able to manage and oversee multiple projects, be a problem solver and effectively communicate with others. A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel to the various jurisdictions as needed.
