Curtin is Hiring a Quality Control Technician Near Kings Mountain, NC

Overview:

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Eagle Precast division. This technician will conduct quality control testing to include slump, air content, unit weight, yield, cylinders, lab work, and more to meet job-specific test requirements. These tests will be done to ensure the continued quality of our concrete barrier wall and other inventory.

Daily Duties:

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Test field cylinders in the lab using established quality control procedures, and accurately record results.
  • Responsible for keeping equipment in proper running condition.
  • Responsible for maintaining a neat and safe workstation.
  • Calibrating and cleaning testing equipment.
  • Follow company and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as specified.

Position Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • ACI Field Tech Certification or the ability to obtain certification is required
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and advanced organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems, make logical decisions, and communicate ideas.
