Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The Pipelayer will be responsible for installing and repairing underground utilities.
Duties:
- Lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.
- Check slopes for conformance to requirements using levels or lasers.
- Cover pipes with earth or other materials.
- Connect pipe pieces and seal joints.
- Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices.
- Install and repair sanitary and stormwater sewer structures.
Requirements:
- Experience in operating Heavy Equipment.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently.
- Knowledge of building techniques related to pipeline construction.
- Proficiency in using various tools required for pipe laying work.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
