Currey Ingram is seeking an Academic Interventionist to work in our Center for OutReach Education (CORE), with an immediate start. Interventionists will provide one-on-one instruction in reading and math for students with learning differences in grades K - 6. They will be expected to administer assessments and utilize data to develop and execute individualized learning plans that meet each student's unique needs. They will also communicate regularly with families regarding their students' progress. Most instruction will take place in-person, but some virtual teaching may also be required.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in special education, elementary education, or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching students with dyslexia and other learning differences.
This is a part-time position with some flexibility in scheduling. Candidates should be available after school hours (i.e., 3 - 6 p.m.) at least two days per week. Interventionists will be paid hourly.
