ETO (Engineering to Order) Technician is responsible for reviewing, developing, and implementing ETOs by working with customer service, product managers, brand and plant engineering for the customer request. The review of the ETO will include bill of materials, assembly/fabrication routes and drawings that will reside with the order. The technician will also support the production floor with any technical needs pertaining to the build process of the ETO. The location for this role is Christiansburg, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Reviews ETOs to update BOMs (bill of materials), routes and costing for the ETO.
• The technician will process ETOs based on monitoring the ETO queue daily.
• ETO Technician will work with brand engineering and customer service to clarify the requests from the customer. 
• Route creating
• Facilitate problem solving in team environments emphasizing robust problem-solving methodologies.
• Perform systems audits to report cadence of the ETO process.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 5 Years of LED lighting Product Experience.
• Requires high energy, assertiveness, and self-motivated individual to work in a fast-paced technical and business environment with limited direction.
• Requires strong communication skills and cross functional breadth to provide strong leadership and direction to product teams.
• Previous experience working in SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft office specifically Word and Excel
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models

Desired Qualifications

• Experience within a factory environment
• Previous Experience in LED Fixture Industry
• Individual must be a self-starter, creative and strategic thinker who has a passion for products, customers, and marketing.
• Previous hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerBI
