Curbell Inc. is Hiring a Final Inspection Supervisor Near Orchard, NY

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the overall performance of the Medical Final Inspection group related to inspection and test integrity, productivity and efficiency, and adherence to all compliance requirements. The role will ensure DMR requirements are met, the inspection staff is fully trained and effective, and delivery and test schedules are met. This position will also support coordination of requirements with other groups such as specification clarification and requirements, non-conformance and repair handling, and scheduling and delivery support.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop a culture of high performance and employee engagement by inspiring, developing, and motivating internal talent. Facilitate good discussions with employees in order to understand their professional goals and aspirations. Create an environment of open communication that fosters upward feedback and suggestions. Make well informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, exhibit autonomy and execute on organization initiatives. (Measure by Employee Engagement and Retention) Promotes adherence to company Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies.
  • Perform final inspection and product release as necessary or due to resource shortages.
  • Supports training and development of the final inspection team to ensure adherence of all final product to DMR requirements. Resolves test and inspection issues, supports disposition determination of non-conforming product, and coordinates resources to allow for consistently meeting schedule and delivery requirements without compromising quality assurance.
  • Work with the Manager and other Quality staff to support QMS requirements such as continual improvement, internal and external audits, CAPAs and investigations, and other projects as needed.
