**Scheduler- Care Concierge, Central Scheduling, Full Time, Variable

We are hiring a Scheduler- Care Concierge to join our Central Scheduling Department in Albuquerque, NM** This full time job is located at Lovelace Shared Services, organizational support departments for all Lovelace facilities including Coding, Finance, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, and the Resource Team. We are dedicated to exceeding our customers' expectations in every way.

**Scheduler- Care Concierge Job Responsibilities:**

* Update the schedule of the Lovelace Health System providers by scheduling appointments for new patients who have a medical need.

* Cross promote other Lovelace services, events, and programs such as Silver Elite, Labor of Love, and G.R.A.C.E.

* Assist new patients with scheduling by completing full patient registration, and scheduling appointments to a PCP or specialty provider.

* Assist current patients by scheduling appointments, canceling appointments, or directing them to the appropriate clinic/staff for assistance.

* Communicates healthcare questions to clinical staff or leadership support team for appropriate follow up with patients.

* Maintain database of referral sources.

* Utilize current technology, which may include web based products such as EPIC and Share Point scheduling guidelines

**Scheduler- Care Concierge Education and Experience Requirements:**

- Minimum: Associates degree or comparable experience in customer relations, scheduling, etc

- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a healthcare field/role or call center environment is preferred

- Healthcare background/ experience and call center experience preferred

- Excellent computer skills and ability to use Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, and Microsoft outlook required

- Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment

- Excellent communication skills required

- Excellent attendance management required

- Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
