Cura Laboratory Services LLC is Hiring a Dispatcher - Laboratory/Radiology Near Mesquite, TX

SHIFT

Saturday/Sunday 3 PM - 7 AM

Option for another 8 hour shift during the week

POSITION SUMMARY

Individual will be reporting to the Dispatch Manager, the Dispatcher-Laboratory/Radiology directs the activities of phlebotomy/radiology technicians. Ensures that all draws/exams are completed on schedule and in accordance with company standards. Coordinates with Phlebotomy Supervisor, Dispatch Manager, and Lab/X-Ray Manager to ensure complete satisfaction as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients.
  • Ensures all facilities and assignments arrive to headquarters by checking Labdaq, Rapid Rad, and other reports.
  • Ensures all Stats, timed draws, and daily scheduled assignments including specimen pick-ups are completed in a timely manner.
  • In a timely and effective manner, ensures all assignments have proper coverage. Redeploy resources as needed.
  • Assigns and ensures phlebotomists, x-ray techs, ultrasound techs, and couriers tasks within established routes. Communicate throughout the shift with field staff based upon fluctuating business needs.
  • Ensures all hours and assignments are distributed fairly while ensuring efficient turn-around time.
  • Communicating in a timely manner all specimen rejections to facilities, critical results for Lab and X-Ray
  • Maintains confidential HIPAA information and shares with others only when it is essential for them to perform their job duties.
  • Participate in shift change huddles and pass downs including completing all required reports and data entry requirements.
  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.

EDUCATION

  • Requires high school or equivalent education.
  • Prefer 2-3 years’ experience in medical “Front Office” or administrative experience or training in a hospital, laboratory, or doctor’s office.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette, knowledge or medical terminology, procedure, and diagnosis coding.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
