The IPSFamily Therapist works as the team lead in conjunction with the Family Support Specialist to provide intensive therapeutic services to promote placement stability for youth at risk of placement disruption. The Family Therapist provides the assessment and treatment plan that drives intensive placement stabilization services. Successful candidates will have a Master’s Degree in human services, preferably social work, or clinical or counseling psychology. Previous clinical experience in child welfare, children’s mental health, and families preferred. Self discipline, highly developed understanding of confidentiality, desire, and ability to work cooperatively with a treatment team is required.Must have use of a motor vehicle capable of being used on the job and be willing to provide services throughout Champaign, Ford, Iroquois, and Vermilion Counties. Most services will be provided in the families’ homes and community.This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling required. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends to meet the scheduling needs of the families that we work with.Cunningham offers outstanding benefits and opportunities for personal fulfillment.
