Health Care Technician

Overview:
Cummings Electrical on behalf of DMI Health Technologies is seeking a Healthcare Technician to join our team in 2023. In this role, you'll provide technical support for healthcare products like Nurse Call, Emergency Call, Mobility, and Unite Middleware Systems. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, resolving customer support issues, and maintaining technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide level I technical troubleshooting via in-person, phone, email, and network tools.
  • Investigate hardware and software problems and escalate within defined practices.
  • Maintain technical knowledge in networking, operating systems, and nurse call products.
  • Follow processes for documenting and tracking customer support issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery processes.
  • Provide cross-training for junior technical support engineers.
  • Perform customer service duties and be available for on-call coverage.
  • Travel up to 15% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 2-5 years of Customer Support experience.
  • Experience with server hardware, Windows Server, telecommunications, WLAN, and Desktop Operating systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Server/Desktop operating systems, TCP/IP Networking, Microsoft SQL Server, Wireless Networking, Microsoft Office, and basic telephone knowledge.
  • Excellent customer management, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, responsive, customer-focused, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
