In this role, you will be a member of our diverse group services team which houses human resources, accounting/finance, marketing, business development, IT, and administration. We are not your average 'overhead' department — instead, we build and implement creative strategies that are in line with business objectives while providing best-in-class support to the company at large... and we do so proudly!

We are currently looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Support located in our Murrieta, CA office. You will be responsible for monitoring client portals, assisting collectors in payment research and reconciliations, researching credits, reviewing contracts, assisting collectors with client audits and notating findings in collections software. 

Responsibilities

• Perform client account audits at Collectors direction.
• Research missing or misapplied payments.
• Monitor client portals for rejected, voided or missing invoices.
• Review contracts to understand payment terms and identify potential reasons for payment delays.
• Work with billing team to resolve client concerns as needed.
• Respond to client requests for invoices and statements.
• Review AR on acquisitions for accuracy, review contracts, pay terms, credits and balances.
• Assist department manager as needed.
• Perform other duties that are reasonably associated with the above essential functions and additional duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• AA degree with Accounting major or Accounting Certification or 4 years' of equivalent billing specific experience.
• A minimum of 2 years working in an accounting, AR or audit support position for a similarly-sized company in the commercial building construction management industry is preferred.
• Exceptional billing experience highly preferred.
• Experience processing a high volume of transactions.
• Experience within the Construction Industry preferred.
• Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Excel.
• Team player with solid interpersonal skills.
• Accurate and organized; strong problem solving skills.
