Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary:

The role operates in both capacities as a clinical and an administrative coordinator supporting the patients and our team of physicians with an expert level of customer service. This is a role for a highly motivated and dependable individual to learn diversified responsibilities of care within our medical organization. The role requires a high level of emotional intelligence to identify the needs of the patients that we serve and a sincerity to impact each patient’s care experience in a positive and compassionate way. Quality of the entrusted tasks are part of the necessary care provided; therefore, strong attention to detail and pride in ones work are necessary characteristics for this position.

This role will be cross trained in various departments to offer support through acquired knowledge throughout the rotations and experience gained from various roles.

The Patient Care Coordinator role provides a high level of detail and professionalism demonstrating the desired behavior characteristics and performance outcomes to lead the team in the support our of physicians and our patients!

• This role works closely with all the departmental leads within the organization to ensure excellent quality and top-notch customer service is being performed at every patient encounter.

Direct Duties:

• Comprehends all business operations to allow for rotation of services needed within the organization
• Primary Focus: Direct Patient Care Department

• Respects, Values, and Delivers an Excellent level of Customer Service without probing, oversight, or management request due to the nature of the individual
• Support Departmental Leads with the flexibility of the corporate goals on a day by day basis
• Willig to provide support and cover a departmental role at any of our various offices
• All offices within a 1 hour radius of main practice location in Hagerstown, MD

• Respects and adheres to HIPAA compliance requirements
• Support the Physicians and Practice Administrator towards the strategic goals of the practice

Compensation:

• Hourly Position

This Position Reports To: Patient Care Administrator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
