Position Title: CURRICULUM DIRECTOR
Term: 204 Days
Salary: $58,000 - $65,000
Responsible To: Building Principals and Superintendent
Qualification:
❖ Advanced degree (Masters, Ed.S., Ed.D.) preferred
❖ Background in curriculum and leadership
❖ Ability to articulate and cast a vision for academic innovations
❖ Participatory leadership style
❖ Positive and dynamic interpersonal skills
❖ Innovative problem solver
Essential Functions:
❖ Assisting teachers Implementing High Reliability Schools model, standard based
grading, and local assessments.
❖ Assisting teachers with New Indiana Learning Standards Blueprints and Essential
Standards revisions
❖ Provide support and training to new and veteran teachers in curricular areas.
❖ Provide individualized professional development to teachers.
❖ Support administration with facilitating Professional Learning Communities, Universal
Teaching Model and data driven decision making for students.
❖ Data Management of Harmony and submitting State Reports in Data Exchange and
managing the LINK portal
Responsibilities:
❖ High Reliability Coaching
❖ New Learning Standards
❖ Standard Based Grading Practices
❖ Instructional Coaching
❖ State and Local Corporation Testing Coordination of iREAD, iLEARRN, SAT,
❖ Attending PLC’s
Auxiliary Roles:
❖ Deliver Student Interventions
❖ Supervision Duties
❖ Train the Trainer meetings/mentorships from DOE or Educational Service Centers
❖ Develop Curricular Materials inventory
❖ Assist with Strategic Planning
❖ Nominations of Teacher of Year for Office of Educator Talent
❖ Support Grant Writing
❖ Assist with School Improvement Plans
