Hip Hop Dance Teacher:

We are looking to hire teachers to join us for SUMMER (early June - early Aug)! This is for you if you are passionate and dedicated to dance education and working with the youth from ages 5 - 12, most of who are completely NEW to dance. Must be able to command a room, share knowledge, captivate students, be reliable, and commit to weekly class slot(s).

DUTIES:

- Implement age-appropriate Hip Hop dance curriculum for students
- Lead weekly dance class for youth of different ages and levels
- Teach students proper Hip Hop foundations and history
- Create a professional, positive and inclusive learning environment for all students; develop personal relationships with dancers
- Be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude

Experience:

- Previous experience working with youth, especially in recreational settings
- Knowledge of Hip Hop style and technique
- Ability to lead a room and create activities that cater to different learning styles
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and the CultureShockNGO team
