Culinary Staffing is Hiring a Hospitality Staffing Coordinator Near Los Angeles, CA

Position SummaryAs a Staffing Coordinator at Culinary Staffing, you will play a pivotal role in managing our temporary staffing program, ensuring the smooth execution of staffing requirements for our clients. You will be responsible for assisting staffing managers, handling orders, scheduling workers, and providing general support to our temporary employees.
Pay Range:

  • $50-$56K a year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Establish and manage temporary staffing programs for various clients, collaborating with staffing managers to fulfill client staffing needs effectively.
  • Take, fill, and modify orders on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in meeting client requirements.
  • Manage late arrivals or lost employees during shifts, implementing contingency plans as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Utilize scheduling programs and vendor management software to create orders, schedule workers for varying shift times, and distribute timesheets efficiently.
  • Provide general assistance to a large pool of temporary employees, addressing their inquiries and ensuring a positive experience throughout their assignments.
  • Assess the qualifications and compatibility of employees with client requirements before placement, ensuring a good fit for both parties.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, staffing managers, candidates and temporary employees via text, email, and phone.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of Culinary Staffing.
 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Previous experience in staffing, recruitment, or customer service, preferably in hospitality or culinary settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software and vendor management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of professionalism while being responsive to management direction, and open to improving performance through feedback.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication, both verbal and written.
  • Capable of prioritizing, organizing, and efficiently managing multiple work assignments with a high level of attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
  • Highly desired: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
