Position: Recruiter Position SummaryThe Recruiter plays an integral role in Culinary Staffing Service's growth by understanding the needs of the staffing managers and clients while sourcing the best talent to fill positions. They are responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and supporting the fulfillment of all positions. This position also plays an essential role in developing initiatives in support of building the candidate pipeline, attracting qualified workforce talent, creating recruitment partnerships, and successfully executing suitable placements for positions.Benefits:Salary: $47k annuallyHealth Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.More benefits : Supplemental Benefits, Paid time off and Sick payEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Conducting Full-Cycle recruitment for hourly associate positions in the food and event industry (Hotels, Hospitals, Corporate Caf, Country Clubs, Event Planners, Universities, and Caterers).Successfully screen a high volume of resumes and hire applicants for designated positions regularly in the food industry and culinary events using ATS.Manage Onboarding processes and conduct necessary follow-ups with new hires.Conduct background checks as needed for potential employees.Create and maintain personnel files.Handling recruitment inquiries from current and potential employees by answering phone lines and emails.Conducting daily Concierge Calls with newly hired employees to verify onboarding completion, address concerns and questions, enhance new hire experience, ensure compliance, and build relationships.Serve as the brand ambassador to recruit talent at off-site locations (e.g., schools, workforce centers, job fairs, community events, etc.)Other duties, projects, and tasks as per business needs.Skills:Exceptional emotional intelligence and the ability to match candidates to compatible roles.A record of accomplishment of delivering results, meeting deadlines, and achieving targets.Computer skills, including Microsoft applications and recruiting websites are preferred.The ability to work with a sense of urgency and maintain professional composure under pressure.Strong business acumen and market insight.Effective negotiation, influencing, and communication skills (both verbal and written).An elevated level of work ethic, integrity, and confidentiality.The ability to build positive working relationships with hiring managers at all levels.Exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.Working knowledge of employment law and legislation related to recruitment.Proficiency in written and spoken English; business-related mathematics and data analysis skills.Minimum Qualifications:2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced management recruitment role, preferably in a hospitality setting.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.Knowledge of the culinary (Food and Food Service) industry.Expertise in full cycle recruitment and developing staffing plansA degree in Business Administration or Human Resources is a plus.Ability to meet deadlines and exhibit conscientiousness about assignments.Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company.Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with others and cultivating constructive working relationships.EEO Statement:All Culinary Staffing Services (CSS) is committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
