Culinaire is Hiring a HOSPITALITY FLOOR SUPERVISOR Near Dallas, TX

Culinaire is hiring a FLOOR SUPERVISOR in the food and beverage operations for the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas. The FLOOR SUPERVISOR must have a passion for guest interaction, excels in customer service, and unifies a team with exceptional support.

The multifaceted food program in the Meyerson Symphony Center includes the Opus Restaurant, bar and food outlets, and high-end catered events held throughout the center.

Top responsibilities include providing all guests with a memorable experience in an efficient and professional manner and serving high quality food alongside an amazing team. This unique role is a front of the house position within all of our programs and requires someone that is comfortable multi-tasking and is quick to provide solutions all while striving to create a pleasant, positive, safe and team-oriented environment.

A few important responsibilities:

  • Maintain a friendly, positive and professional attitude to supervise a team
  • Knowledge on banquet event orders, menus and related products
  • Train and develop staff with service, product, and alcohol standards
  • Establish and maintain adequate equipment inventories, which include china, glassware, silverware, linen and small equipment
  • Adequately plan for major events and markets
  • Monitor service to guests during functions ensuring standards are being followed
  • Assistance with the POS system

Qualifications and Skill Set

· A minimum of two years of operational supervisor experience

· Communicate effectively both verbal and written

· Works a flexible schedule including morning, day, evening, weekends and holidays

· Stands and walks for a long period

· Positive attendance history, works in a timely manner, takes accountability for commitments

· Current alcohol and food handlers certification

· Ability to problem solve, handle challenging situations, and monitor productivity against time

· Ability to carry, lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, up to 100 pounds infrequently

· Professional demeanor, open and accepts change in a setting that welcomes input and ideas
