We are looking for an organized and solutions-oriented Procurement Specialist to coordinate and organize product testing/compliance related matters, routing information between major customers and the factories, and other inventory management related tasks. You will be reporting to the President and Operations Manager.

It is important for someone in this role to be detail-oriented and methodical, to be able to ensure accuracy in their work to the greatest extent possible. They must possess a strong sense of urgency in all their tasks to ensure timely delivery and operations of all business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Logistics Related

· Receive and monitor inventory levels

· Forecast inventory demands by looking at sales data, and order from factories as needed

· Send in routing information from key accounts to factory

· Monitor shipping schedules and communicate to the team regarding any incoming inventory, delays, and other statuses

· Work with our broker and overseas vendors to process imports

· Communicate with our vendors to coordinate production and shipments

· Process customer routing guides and advise factory of requirements

Compliance Related

· Communicate with testing agencies to obtain test report and understand compliance issues as needed

· Provide suggestions to improve product design to comply with desired testing requirements

· Maintain an organized log and guide of all customer compliance requirements

· Conduct quality control, during goods reception using predefined templates

· Partner with procurement team in detecting root causes for defects during production

· Organize the archive of import documentation and quality control reports for future reference, and prepare a monthly summary for management

Admin Related

· Create invoices and BOLs for key accounts

· Run and analyze reports, to provide insights to inform on decision-making and strategic-planning

· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

· Excellent written and communication skills

· Strong sense of urgency

· Mathematically inclined, with ease of work with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and PERCENTAGES

· Experience in receiving and monitoring large inventories

· Ease to type and/or enter data in computer systems

· Fluency with Google Drive

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) programs

· Proficiency in Outlook is a must

· 2-3 Years Experience in Supply Chain/Logstics

· Bachelor’s Degree is a minimum

Preferred Skills

· Experience working in Consumer Goods Industry

· Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
