As we continue to expand and grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Drafter, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of commercial office furniture solutions, with a focus on remanufactured cubicles. Utilizing your expertise in drafting software and knowledge of industry standards, you will contribute to the creation of innovative workspace designs that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Job Description:

• Collaborate with the sales team to create detailed drawings and specifications for commercial office furniture projects, including remanufactured cubicles, workstations, and seating solutions.
• Utilize AutoCAD software to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Work closely with sales and production teams to interpret client needs and translate concepts into functional design solutions.
• As needed conduct site visits and measurements as needed to gather information for drafting purposes.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product innovations, and best practices in commercial office furniture design.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred Associate degree from an Architectural/Drafting/Interior Design program or equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) years of drafting CAD experience in the architectural field, industrial and commercial furniture interiors industry experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Knowledge of commercial furniture standards, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Creative Problem solver – demonstrated ability to find new approaches to deliver on the customers’ requirements.
• Must provide accurate, detailed drawings under strict timelines.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
