CUBA CUBA is looking for a kitchen supervisor at our Glendale, CO location. We are looking for the newest member for our family style restaurant.
The following is an outline of essential responsibilities
● Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurants’ recipes, portioning and cooking standards
● Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food products to assure a smooth service by utilizing company systems such as order guide, prep list, inventory sheets and recipe yields
● Ensuring the quantity and quality of received products meets company standard
● Portioning food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
● Handling, storing, and rotating all products properly and in accordance with health code standards
● Overseeing and delegating food prep assignments as needed
● Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
● Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
● Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
● Ensuring that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition
● Controlling food cost and usage by following proper inventory and waste control
● Manage and control Back of Hour Labor (in conjunction with General Manager) to ensure accurate staffing levels
● Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure efficient operations
● Training kitchen personnel in cleanliness and sanitation practices
REQUIREMENTS
● Bilingual
● Food cost, labor cost, waste management
● Have knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
● Have strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors
● Work Weekends and Holidays
● Work 40hrs minimum, Closing shifts
● Working knowledge of ordering computer software programs

Pay: $26.50 - $28.50 per hour
