Shakopee Cub Foods is looking for a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to work evenings and weekends. Pay based on experience

Job Overview:

Pharmacy technicians work under the supervision of a pharmacist to deliver quality patient care and excellent customer service. You'll be responsible for assisting pharmacists in filling prescriptions, helping patients in person or on the phone, and more. Pharmacy Technicians must maintain and follow all Board of Pharmacy regulations, Shakopee Cub Foods policies and procedures and Pharmacy department policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions
• Responsible for accurately processing customers’ orders through ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge
• Ensures positive customer relations
• Performs department receiving and stocking both in the pharmacy and the OTC aisles
• Miscellaneous responsibilities as required

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Retail Pharmacy Operations is preferred
• Certified Pharmacy Technician License is preferred (training can be provided)
• Ability to work evening hours and weekends.
• Must be organized, able to work on a number of tasks at one time and work with minimum supervision
• Possess strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school or equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency
