The CU Medicine team delivers business operations, revenue cycle and administrative services to support the patients of over 3,500 University of Colorado School of Medicine physicians and advanced practice providers. These providers bring their unparalleled expertise at the forefront of medicine to deliver trusted, compassionate health care services at primary and specialty care clinics as well as facilities operated by affiliate hospitals of the University of Colorado. We are seeking a motivated Web & Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. The individual in this position must possess a passion for digital communications and a knack for data management and analysis to manage website content, email marketing and data maintenance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Website Content ManagementWrite, maintain, update and optimize website content for clinic web pages.Review website content updates with stakeholders, including clinicians and leadership.Implement website content and design updates within the CMS.Recommend improvements for website functionality and user experience.Email MarketingPlan, create, and execute newsletter/email marketing campaigns (including layout, scheduling and tracking).Gain approval for email content from stakeholders.Utilize marketing automation software in partnership with our Graphic Designer.Develop and manage segmentation and drip campaigns to target and engage audiences.Implement A/B testing for campaigns to identify the most effective strategies.Analyze and report on newsletter and email campaign performance.Data managementManage data hygiene and accuracy across multiple platforms.Partner with affiliate healthcare organizations to ensure data is properly maintained.Ensure new provider data is complete and accurate in CRM and other systems.Understand and manage links between data repositories and websites, in partnership with our Web Communications Manager.Reporting and analyticsUtilize tools such as Google Analytics to analyze email campaign performance.Create and share regular reporting with leadership.Develop insights from data to suggest improvements to digital marketing strategies and website user experience.Search engine optimization (SEO)Implement SEO best practices including keyword research, on-page optimization and link building, in partnership with our Content and Social Media Specialist.Track and report on SEO performance and recommend adjustments to improve website visibility and traffic.Understand the impact that new technologies, including AI and Google Search Generative Experience, may have on our practices, and implement strategies to incorporate new trends and technologies into our digital marketing effortsWork to continuously expand job knowledge by staying up to date on the latest trends and advancements in web and email marketing, SEO and related technologies.Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned. Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field and a minimum of 3 years professional experience focusing on web and email marketing. Healthcare Marketing &/or Communications experience is highly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential, as is a solid understanding of digital marketing principles. Professional experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress,Sitefinity, or similar is required. Must demonstrate high proficiency with marketing automation software such as Constant Contact, ActiveCampaign or Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and practical experience with Google Analytics 4, including analysis and reporting, as well as Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager. Must be adept at utilizing data distribution and syndication vendors such as Press Ganey, and online directory listing sites such as Google My Business and Healthgrades. Additionally, exceptional attention to detail is critical in this role.
