Looking for a Maintenance Technician in San Diego, CA at least two (2) years prior experience in Property Management Maintenance, must have own car, own tools, able to work independently. This position will call for the technician to move between 4 properties completing needed maintenance work as assigned in South San Diego County.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform light maintenance on all appliances.
2. Perform light electrical repairs on such items as appliances, fixtures, outlets, circuits, etc.
3. Perform light plumbing work such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc.
4. Replace broken glass, tile, vinyl, minor carpet repairs, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, draperies, and locks.
5. Touch-up painting and full paint of interiors of apartments.
6. Painting of apartment decks and patios and other exterior apartment or common areas when necessary.
7. Perform carpentry work such as fitting doors, freeing windows, replacing door jambs, building shelves, sanding, and refinishing floors, making window screens, re-screening, installation of cabinets or replacement/repair of doors/drawers, re-skinning doors and cabinets, replacing kitchen counters, repairing fences and utility cabinets, repairing decks and rails.
8. Assist in custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, emptying trash, cleaning windows, and cleaning apartments.
9. Assist in groundwork, when necessary, i.e. pick up trash, pull weeds, when walking through community.
10. Repair concrete, masonry, fencing, when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
