Job Title: Manager, Strategic Industry Programs
Department: Administration
Reports to: VP, Strategic Industry Programs
FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary: Business Development and Strategic Industry Programs Manager
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Business/Program Development Skills:
  • Primary point of contact for working group engagement, ability to qualify new member prospects and member engagement follow-up across multiple working groups
  • Prepare working group meeting agendas and summaries, and project manage working group deliverables
  • Coordination of certification roadmaps that connect Strategic Programs industry initiatives by working with member company subject matter experts and outside experts to build industry recognized programs; including leveraging other internal certification program assets where applicable
  • Project management including tracking, reporting and business modeling for new industry programs
  • Establish weekly action items for short term and long term goals
  • Track member engagement pipeline reports
  • Identify interdepartmental opportunities to align Strategic Industry Programs initiatives with our broader association goals
  • Liaison between policy, communications and membership teams for content approvals as needed
  • Prepare processes and documentations required to transition working groups into industry programs, as needed
  • Basic database management and reporting is a plus

Qualifications:

Knowledge:
Prior experience with relationship management, project management skills
Computer skills:
Must be extremely well-versed in all Microsoft Office Suite products. Expert knowledge of Excel is required and prior experience with databases is preferred. Knowledge of product marketing, project planning, and some experience in working with technology subject matter experts and strong presentation skills are preferred.
Education and/or experience:
5 years’ project management, proven track-record with customer relations
Language Skills:
Detail-oriented with knowledge of grammar and punctuation. Proficiency in proofreading skills and strong communications skills are required.
